I am a Water Data Scientist with a Ph.D. in Water Science and Technology, specialising in Water Data Science and predictive modelling, supported by a strong foundation in geological data analysis and environmental geoscience. My expertise lies in leveraging data to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions for wastewater management, freeze crystallization, and other environmental applications.
With demonstrated proficiency in Python programming, machine learning, and advanced statistical methodologies, I develop data-driven models that identify hidden patterns and trends, transforming complex datasets into valuable knowledge. As a published researcher and collaborator on interdisciplinary projects, I bring a unique ability to bridge scientific research with practical implementation.
In addition to technical expertise, I have experience in lecturing, student supervision, and developing user-focused interfaces, including GUIs and websites. I have a robust academic foundation in Geology, which began with my undergraduate studies and extended into a master’s degree, where I specialised in Groundwater Modelling and Engineering Geology. During my master’s program, I conducted in-depth research to advance my understanding of geological processes and their application to groundwater systems.
Building on this foundation, I earned a Ph.D. in Water Science and Technology, with a specialization in Water Data Science. This advanced training allowed me to integrate geological expertise with data-driven methodologies, equipping me to address complex challenges in water resource management and environmental sustainability.
My primary focus lies in Mine Water Management within the water sector, where I aim to optimise water usage, treatment, and responsible discharge in mining operations. Beyond this, I extend my expertise to wastewater treatment, agriculture, mining, and engineering.
I contribute to the development of innovative purification processes, the design of sustainable irrigation systems, and the implementation of environmentally responsible mining practices. Additionally, I work to integrate advanced water management principles into engineering projects, ensuring solutions that align with sustainability goals across diverse sectors.
